IMR Conference will be held on 22 October 2026 (program announcement in October 2026)

Keynote Speaker

We are delighted to announce Nikolina Dreven, Ph.D., as a keynote speaker at our conference dedicated to young researchers, PhD students, and postdoctoral scholars. We are especially pleased to welcome a researcher whose work connects contemporary topics in organizational behavior, leadership, and purpose-driven business, while also actively contributing to the development of the early-career academic community.

Her internationally recognized doctoral research, awarded at the EDAMBA Thesis Competition 2025, represents an inspiring example of academic excellence for emerging scholars.

Methodology Workshop

Join us for an engaging methodology workshop “Reaching the Unreachable: Recruiting and Researching Hidden Populations in Conservative Contexts”, led by Nasreen Hasan Ashkanani, Ph.D. student at the University of Strathclyde Business School, UK. Drawing on her fieldwork with women entrepreneurs operating beyond formal networks, this interactive session offers practical insights into accessing hidden populations, building trust, navigating ethical challenges, and adapting research strategies in complex field settings. Through real-life examples, honest reflections, and lessons learned from unexpected situations, participants will gain valuable guidance for conducting qualitative research where textbooks leave off.

Early Career Research Incubator

Develop your research through presentations, discussion, and constructive feedback from experienced researchers

As part of the IMR Conference, doctoral students and early-career researchers are invited to present their research proposals, study designs, or work in progress. This dedicated session offers a valuable opportunity to discuss research ideas before data collection or dissertation completion and receive constructive feedback that can strengthen the theoretical framing, methodology, and overall research design.

Participation in the Early Career Research Incubator is free of charge for all participants. Researchers interested in participating should submit a research proposal abstract of up to 1,000 words by 15 September 2026. Submissions should include: (i) the research topic and its relevance, (ii) theoretical background, (iii) research questions and/or hypotheses, (iv) proposed methodology, and (v) expected theoretical and practical contributions.

Accepted participants will have the opportunity to present their proposals during a dedicated conference session and engage in a focused discussion with experienced scholars and conference participants. All participants presenting their research proposals will receive an official Certificate of Participation recognizing their contribution to the IMR Conference and Doctoral Workshop.
