As an established interdisciplinary platform, IMR encourages dialogue among scholars and experts on contemporary trends, theoretical achievements and practical challenges in management, as well as in related fields such as business administration, financial economics, industrial organisation, law and economics. A distinctive feature of the IMR conference is its strong focus on postgraduate research. It provides a stimulating environment for PhD students to present and discuss their work, receive valuable feedback from fellow PhD students, faculty members and industry experts, and enhance their academic and professional networks. The collegial and supportive atmosphere of the conference continues to foster open discussion, collaboration and the exchange of innovative ideas within the management research community.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"616\" height=\"799\" src=\"https:\/\/imr-conference.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimka-zaslona-2026-04-03-144059.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6699\" srcset=\"https:\/\/imr-conference.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimka-zaslona-2026-04-03-144059.png 616w, https:\/\/imr-conference.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimka-zaslona-2026-04-03-144059-231x300.png 231w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The conference, held at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek on 23 and 24 October 2025, was officially opened by Prof. Sun\u010dica Oberman Peterka, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. The opening ceremony featured two distinguished keynote speakers. Associate Professor Marina Stani\u0107, PhD delivered a keynote lecture entitled \u201cApplication of Biometrics in Research \u2013 Insights into Individual Behaviour and Decision-Making\u201d, exploring how biometric methods can improve understanding of human actions and choices. Full Professor \u017deljko Po\u017eega, PhD presented the topic \u201cContemporary Challenges in Employee Motivation\u201d, examining the modern dynamics and factors shaping workforce engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the plenary session, the conference continued with several parallel sessions covering a wide range of interdisciplinary research areas, including behavioural economics, labour market activation, organisational culture and employee innovation, digital transformation and marketing, financial risk management, strategic decision-making, tourism and hospitality management, sustainability and green practices, artificial intelligence in education, cultural heritage branding, and corporate social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second day of the conference was dedicated to informal academic and cultural activities that encouraged networking and interdisciplinary exchange among participants. The programme took place in the historic fortress of Tvr\u0111a, offering participants the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of the city. Conference participants visited the Archaeological Museum of Osijek and the Museum of Slavonia, where they explored exhibitions highlighting the historical and economic development of the region. These off-site activities provided a relaxed and inspiring environment for further discussion, collaboration, and the strengthening of academic partnerships initiated during the first day of the sessions. The diversity of this year&#8217;s research topics clearly demonstrated the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, and participants from five countries provided fertile ground for further academic discussion and collaboration through the presentation of 28 research papers. All presented papers are included in the collection that will be submitted for indexing in the world&#8217;s leading databases, which underscores the academic significance and global reach of the IMR conference.
