At the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek, the second EFOS Business Forum was successfully held under the title \u201cArtificial intelligence \u2013 a new era of business\u201d as part of the 20th International Scientific Conference \u201cInterdisciplinary Management Research\u201d (IMR Conference), with the support of the Croatian Association of Employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EFOS Business Forum brought together leading managers, entrepreneurs and academic experts, giving them the opportunity to network and exchange ideas on the latest trends in artificial intelligence and its potential for business transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArtificial intelligence represents one of the most important challenges and opportunities of our time, and through this Forum we want to provide our participants not only with insight into current trends, but also with the opportunity for open discussion about the potential and responsibility involved in the application of technology. We are convinced that such gatherings will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance business processes and strengthen our global competitiveness. I would like to thank all panellists and participants for their contribution to this important event, which undoubtedly helps to strengthen the economic community at both local and national levels,\u201d said Prof. Boris Crnkovi\u0107, Ph.D. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An extremely interesting introductory lecture, \u201cQuo Vadis AI (Domine)?\u201d, was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Robert Kopal, Ph.D., an expert in analytics and the application of artificial intelligence, who spoke about the key challenges and opportunities that AI brings to business. The lecture was followed by a dynamic panel discussion moderated by Bruno Budimir from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, in which, in addition to Prof. Kopal, the participants were Fe\u0111a Ivan\u0161i\u0107, President of the Board of Barrage, Juraj Bili\u0107, Assistant Director for Artificial Intelligence at CARNET, Ivan He\u0107imovi\u0107, Director of Alternative Channels at Zagreba\u010dka banka, Tanja Pureta, owner and director of Ramiro, and Marijana \u0160aroli\u0107 Robi\u0107, Vice President of the CRO Startup Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panellists unanimously stressed that artificial intelligence is a revolutionary force that increases efficiency, drives innovation, and strengthens global competitiveness. However, they also highlighted the importance of an ethical approach and responsible leadership, especially the role of business leaders in deploying technology that not only contributes to social progress, but also secures long-term competitive advantage and business sustainability. The forum thus once again demonstrated how strategic discussion and networking among leading experts from the business and academic sectors lay the foundations for the future of business in the age of artificial intelligence, with the aim of achieving positive social and economic impacts at both local and global levels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
