Submission Guidelines


When submitting a paper (paper proposal), please indicate the number of the area and first author’s family name (e.g. 3matic.doc)


The submitted papers are subject to double-blind domestic and international peer review.


Official conference languages are Croatian, English, and German.



Text layout

The summary and keywords must be written in English, in WINWORD format.

The paper must be written in English and submitted in WINWORD format, on 10 pages.

Font style and size: Times New Roman font, single line spacing.  Title of a chapter: 14 pt, bold, aligned left; Subtitles: 12 pt, italics, numerated, aligned left; Text: 12 pt

DIN A4 Format (297 x 210 mm).

All margins set at 20 mm on DIN A4 format.

No empty space should be left on any of the pages. The text must end at the bottom of the last page.

Citation style

Direct quotations from sources should be referenced in the text as (Family name; year, page). If there are two authors the structure is (Family name & Family name; year, page). If a citation is to a reference with more than 2 authors, it should appear as (First author’s family name et al.; year, page).

Tables, figures, graphs, ….

Above: number and title, indicating precisely what they refer to. Below the table/figure: Source: the source must be verifiable; if the data source is author’s own work, it must be stated: Author’s calculations.


The list of references should NOT be numbered. All the references should be mentioned in the body of the text. The bibliography should be comprised of at least five items, and must not be centred. The sources should be listed alphabetically, by the first author. If there are several publications by the same author(s), they should be listed by publication year. If there are several sources by the same author from the same year, they should be listed in the order they appeared during the year.
